Make Ambitions Reality
Telangana’s way of life is rooted in our lakes, wildlife, forests and natural surroundings. We should all work to leave our environment better than when we found it — that means promoting clean energy, supporting environmental protection and confronting the existential threat of climate change head-on.
Greenpeace satellite data analysis has revealed parts of Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Ramagundam among the world’s biggest NO2 emission contributors. Additionally, Hyderabad also ranks no. 3 on the list of the most sound polluted metropolitan cities in India. Climate change isn’t just taking a toll on our air but also on India’s agricultural productivity — a fact that adversely affects us, as our economy largely depends on agricultural produce given that we are one of the largest agrarian sectors in the world.
Negligence on these fronts can only lead to major ramifications on the future of our country and state. Protecting our environment is as much a question of doing the right thing by ourselves as it is doing right by the generations to come.
Adithya is hard at work advocating policies that address climate change and is actively prioritising the preservation of our environment. Under his leadership, the MCR Foundation focuses on climate change by spreading awareness and seeking ways to reduce harmful emissions.
